First Look at The Batman Ninja Anime

The Batman Ninja anime was first announced this October at New York Comic Con. Today, the animated feature’s first footage has been uploaded online thanks to Warner Bros. Mandarin, and it is absolutely a work of art.

Story writer Kazuki Nakashima (Kill La Kill) and character designer Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai) have created a Batman unlike any we’ve seen previously. The closest was probably from the DC animated film Batman: Gotham Knight.

The video comes in two flavors, the first with subtitles, and the second without. Several toy companies are also creating collectibles for the film, which are currently on display at Tokyo Comic-Con 2017. Good Smile Company and Prime 1 Studio both have prototypes on dipslay, (images courtesy of @amiamihobbynews and 7777_diver). You can see them all below.
